From frustration to innovation

In 2019, our founders James Wilson and Sarah Chen were running a fast-growing startup and experiencing firsthand the pain of managing company expenses. They had shared corporate cards with no visibility into who was spending what. Lost receipts piled up. Monthly reconciliation took days of manual work.

When they looked for solutions, they found clunky legacy systems designed for enterprises, or consumer apps that didn't meet business needs. Nothing provided the real-time visibility and control that modern businesses needed.

So they built Vydapay—a platform that gives every employee the cards they need while giving finance teams complete visibility and control. What started as a solution for their own company has grown into a platform serving over 15,000 businesses across the UK and Europe.

Today, we've processed over £2.4 billion in transactions and saved our customers hundreds of thousands of hours of manual work. But we're just getting started. We believe every business deserves world-class financial tools, and we're on a mission to make that a reality.

Making business spending effortless

We believe finance teams shouldn't spend their time chasing receipts, reconciling statements, or processing expense reports. They should be strategic partners helping their businesses grow.

Vydapay automates the tedious work so finance professionals can focus on what matters: driving business decisions with real-time financial insights.

What drives us every day

Speed matters

We ship fast and iterate faster. Our customers shouldn't wait months for features they need today. We deploy multiple times per day and measure impact in real-time.

🔒

Trust is earned

We handle our customers' money. Security and reliability aren't features—they're foundations. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of security, compliance, and transparency.

🎯

Customer obsessed

Every decision starts with "how does this help our customers?" We talk to customers daily, watch how they use our product, and build what they actually need—not what we think they want.

💡

Think different

The old way of doing things isn't good enough. We challenge assumptions, question "best practices," and find better solutions. If it's always been done that way, that's reason to reconsider.

🤝

Win together

We succeed as a team or not at all. No brilliant jerks. No politics. We share information freely, help each other grow, and celebrate wins together.

📈

Own the outcome

Everyone at Vydapay is an owner—literally. We all have equity, and we all act like it. We don't point fingers; we solve problems and take responsibility for results.
